Every kind of solution has a user interface with multiple UI elements which are all part of the interaction design as they are the interface between the solution and the user. They define how a system can be used from a technical perspective. The interaction design is, however, even more.

The environment or context play an important role as they define requirements how the solution can be fitted into the users' workflows. The interaction design should add a user interface to make tasks more performant or easier but the system must not be distracting.
